Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp confirmed to include online support

One of the stand outs and surprising announcements from Nintendos showings at E3 this year was the return of the Advance Wars games that originally came out way back on the Game Boy Advance.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp looks to be a remaster of the first two games in the series and is being handled by the trusty guys over at WayForward. That was all we knew about the project until now.

Nintendo have confirmed over on the games official page that the game will feature up to four players being able to battle it out over over dozens of maps and that online play will require users to have an Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Online play was never an option in the original version of these games as the GBA didn't have any online gaming capabilities, so it will be great to see how it works out in Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp.
