Chivalry 2 console pre-orders live now. Closed cross play beta coming April 23rd

Following developer Torn Banner Studios and publisher Tripwire Presents recent announcement that its brutal medieval first person slasher, Chivalry 2 will launch worldwide on June 8th is the news that console pre-orders for Chivalry 2 are available now.

Both retail and digital console copies are live today for both the standard edition and the special edition of the game. All digital pre-orders of the game will for both console and PC (via the Epic Game Store) will allow access to the upcoming closed beta which will run from April 23rd to April 26th.

Chivalry 2 will in addition offer pre-order incentives with the standard edition giving access to the Royal Zweihänder weapon skin whilst those opting for the special edition of the game will come with additional items as well as the Royal Zweihänder weapon skin, the further intensify the gameplay experience.

You'll also be glad to hear that Chivalry 2 will support free cross-generational upgrades. So that means you don't have to fork out extra if you want to upgrade from a PS4/Xbox One version to the PS5/Xbox Series X\S version of the game which is always a great thing to hear.

Additional details regarding the beta will include cross play combat across all platforms, epic multiplayer battles supporting up to 64 players to experience mass-scale brutal conflict, an array of weaponry at your disposal and a new to the public map called The Siege Of Rudhelm to satisfy your bloodlust on.

Chivalry 2 is available to pre-order now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (exclusively via the Epic Games Store) and will be released worldwide on June 8th.
