Chivalry 2 launch trailer drops ahead of global launch

Torn Banner Studios, the indie game developer based in Toronto, Canada has today released the official trailer for the sequel to their popular 2012 middle age-themed hack and slash, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.

Originally based on the Age of Chivalry mod for Valve’s Half-Life 2, Chivalry 2 extends on what was established in the first game. Players are now able to traverse the battlefield on horseback and use dismembered limbs of opponents to use as make-shift clubs. The game will take advantage of the graphical capabilities of modern consoles and the game will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and the Xbox Series X/S.

The game’s release is supported by publishers Tripwire Presents and Deep Silver.

The game will release worldwide on June 8th and will be available to pre-download Sunday, June 6 at 11:00am EDT on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and Tuesday, June 8 at 10:30am EDT on PC (via the Epic Games Store). The game will also be playable using GeForce NOW, Nvidia’s open cloud gaming service.
