Guilty Gear -Strive- Open beta test #2 coming May 14th to 16th
Guilty Gear -Strive-, the 4th chapter of the beat'em up saga Guilty Gear and developed Arc System, will be released on June 11th. The development team announced that the game will be playable during the Open Beta Test #2 from the 14th to the 16th of May on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
In this new beta, players will have the possibility to try the complete roster of the game. In addition, this version will come with a revamped lobby system and improved game balancing. There will also be three Offline modes: vs com / vs 2p, Tutorial Mode and Training Mode, along with Online Match Mode. Unfortunately, Player Matches Mode will not be available during this test session.
Developers confirmed that cross-play will be supported so PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 player can face each other. Players who have the previous Open Beta Test will receive a patch that will update the version for the new Beta Test while new players can pre-download it from the 7th of May.
In addition to that, there will be changes about the content available during the Early Access for pre-orders of the Deluxe and Ultimate edition, which starts on 8th June, players will be able to choose their character from the full roster, play the Story Mode entirely and play the online modes.
Servers will be opened for the Beta Test from the14th of May, 04:00am BST to the 16th of May, 03:59pm BST.
