Judgment sequel Lost Judgment announced by Sega

Lost Judgement, a sequel to the Yakuza spin-off Judgement, has officially been announced by SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The game will be launching globally in September 2021.

In lost Judgement we play as Yagami, an ex-lawyer trying to unravel mysterious murders in different famous locations from the Yakuza series. According to Yakuza creator, Toshihiro Nagoshi, this game will be “even greater than the original”.

During the announcement Nagoshi said that “Yagami himself will have a new Snake fighting style, along with his Crane and Tiger styles; upgraded investigations will enable the player to wiretap, employ stealth to track suspects and, thanks to Yagami's athleticism, traverse higher areas”. Another innovation is represented by the so-called “School Stories”, a series of side quests available in a new school location. These missions will mostly be mini-games (including boxing, robotics and rhythm-action dancing), while the story will be supported by “1000s” of cut-scenes.

Lost Judgement will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S with a worldwide launch on September 24th 2021.
