Knockout City hitting EA Play and Game Pass on day one

EA have announced that Knockout City buy Velan Studios will be available via Xbox Game Pass on launch day as part of the EA Play library. This comes off the back of a successful open beta that saw over 1 million downloads. This means you'll be able to jump into this frantic, over the top dodgeball experience on day one with your Game Pass subscription.


Knockout City features ''intense battles'' in this competitive 3v3 team based dodgeball game. On launch it will feature six unique balls to test out, five diverse maps with interactive environments to explore. In addition to this, you'll also get an exclusive in game epic outfit called 'Ready Up' for your in game avatar to don when you start up the game.


We played the Knockout City beta and had some surprisingly good fun. It's a fresh take on competitive 3v3 arena battlers and has a lot of potential and we'll definitely be jumping into the full release.


Knockout City will be releasing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on the 21st of May and will feature cross-play and cross progression support. It will also be available on Game Pass via EA Play as well as on EA Play for other services. If you fancy buying it outright, it'll set you back $19.99/£16,74.
