Knockout City open beta starts this week

EA and developer Velan Studios have today announced that Knockout City, their team based dodgeball inspired multiplayer title will be having an open cross play beta from April 2nd to April 4th.


It's time to break some faces, brawlers! Knockout City tasks you with grasping the arts of ''throwing, catching, passing and dodging'' in this frantic competitive experience. In the beta you'll be able to sample a modicum of modes including 1v1 Face Off, Sniper Ball and Diamond Dash playlists.


The beta will include four maps, five balls, a selection of customisation options and three playlists. Knockout City will also support cross-progression across all platforms. As a bonus for playing the beta you will also unlock a flashy glider and unique item for use in the full game. The beta starts April 2nd and runs until April 4th and is available to pre-load to your consoles or PC now.


Knockout City is due for full release on May 21st for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. You can check out the latest gameplay trailer below.
