Live the reality of WW2 through the perspective of a child with Torn Away

Perelesoq and Nordcurrent are proud to announce us their upcoming project called Torn Away.

In this interactive story you will experience World War II through the eyes of a child.

You incarnate Asya, a 10-year-old girl who’s been separated from her family and put into a forced labor camp called Ostarbeiter. When the opportunity arises, she escapes the camp and flees eastward, across Germany and Poland, to her home.

What’s particular about this game is that you cannot use violence to survive. You will have to hide and evade from soldiers as well as look for shelter and food. Based on children’s war diaries, Torn Away narrates the cruelty of war through a non-violent perspective and teaches about what makes us humans.

Torn Away will be released in late 2021 on Steam and GOG.com.
