New online WWII shooter Enlisted is free to play now

Gaijin Entertainment and developers Darkflow Software have announced that their new military online shooter Enlisted is now available, free to play for everyone on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. It features two campaigns of which are The Battle for Moscow and Invasion of Normandy with more to be added in the future.

Enlisted is a World War II shooter featuring huge infantry battles with tank and air support and carefully recreates the atmosphere with great detail. Lots of time and research has been put into the attention to authenticity of weaponry and gear, as well as the attention to historical accuracy, An example being that a Tiger tank at the Battle of Moscow would not be seen as it was not in service in the German army in 1941.

“We focused on making Enlisted feel like real World War II battles, but we never forgot that it’s a game first and foremost. We strive for a golden middle ground between fluid and fun gameplay of shooter games and the unforgiving realism of military simulators”, says Eugene Guskov, a game director of Enlisted.

Enlisted is available now for free on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. You can check out the open beta trailer below.
