Nintendo: team Next Level Games is officially part of the company, according to the annual report

Nintendo has recently published its annual report and mentions Next Level Games as an internal team, for the first time after its recent acquisition.

Next Level Games, the studio behind Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Mario Strikers, was acquired by Nintendo last January; the studio was immediately expanded, testifying how probably there are big plans for the new internal team and it is mentioned as part of the organization in official documents.

The partnership between Nintendo and the Canadian studio has been going on for several years now and the team has extensively demonstrated its skills, especially through Luigi’s Mansion 3 on Nintendo Switch. But that’s not all, the team is also well known for games such as Super Mario Strikers, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Metroid Prime: Federation Force.

As some users pointed out on various forums, these days practically falls the tenth anniversary of the last non-Nintendo game developed by the team, Captain America: Super Soldier for PS3 and Xbox 360, which was released exactly 10 years ago, demonstrating the time the team has already spent in close contact with Nintendo.
