Online services for GTAV, Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire on PS3 and Xbox 360 are going to end

The PS3 and Xbox 360 version of L.A. Noire officially joined GTAV and Max Payne 3 on the list of online services that won't be supported anymore. As of September 16th 2021, the online tracking statistics, which can be viewed on the Rockstar Game Social Club website will no longer exist. Transferring progress to current console generations will not be an option either.


Here is the expected timeline that can be found on the Rockstar Support FAQ:


GTA Online on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

  • September 16, 2021

  • PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Shark Cards for GTA Online no longer sold.


  • December 16, 2021

  • GTA Online services for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, including website stat tracking via the Rockstar Games Social Club no longer available.

  • GTAV Story Mode for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 not impacted.


L.A. Noire on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

  • September 16, 2021

  • Online services for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, including website stat tracking via the Rockstar Games Social Club no longer available.

  • L.A. Noire Story Mode for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 not impacted.


Max Payne 3 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

  • September 16, 2021

  • Online services for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, including website stat tracking via the Rockstar Games Social Club no longer available.

  • Max Payne 3 Story Mode for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 not impacted.


Thankfully, these changes won't affect solo modes.
