Rumour: Call Of Duty in 2021 is presumably called Call Of Duty WWII: Vanguard
It's reported that 2021's Call Of Duty title is under the title of Call Of Duty WWII: Vanguard internally at developer Sledgehammer Games.
This report comes from sources speaking to website ModernWarzone and they claim that the name is purely a working title for the time being and most likely ship under a different alias towards the end of this year. The game all whilst supposedly set in WWII has also been rumoured to be set in the 1950's as well. Could this mean an alternate time line for the setting where the war didn't finish? Or should we be all taking this with a pinch of salt? Sledgehammer did develop the 2017 entry Call Of Duty WWII so it does seem likely that we could be having a continuation of the WWII era in the Call Of Duty series.
Activision have confirmed that there will be another entry into the Call Of Duty series in 2021 but have yet to reveal anything about it just yet. As soon as we hear any news on the next Call Of Duty instalment, we'll be sure to let you know.
