Shoot, Die, Repeat in upcoming tactical time-loop FPS Lemnis Gate

If at first you don't succeed, rewind.

Ratloop Games Canada's, first shown off at last years Future Games Show, has reentered the timestream with new details and a summer 2021 release date on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Combining non-linear time jumping and tactical FPS gameplay, Lemnis Gate has players fighting each other in 1v1 and 2v2 matches over five 25-second rounds. What separates this hero shooter from the rest of the pack is that each round is actually the same 25 seconds repeated, with players taking turns to execute an action, be it capturing a target, stealing an objective or executing another player.

What emerges is a tactical gunfight somewhere between turn-based strategy, FPS gameplay and chess as players seek to head off each other's plans with well-timed interventions in the past in both online and local matches.

It sounds equal parts mind-bending and exciting, and we can't wait to see just how complex this tactical FPS gets when it launches in Summer of 2021
