Sierra Entertainment founders are working on a new game

According to rumours, Sierra Entertainment’s founders are working on a new game and apparently it has been confirmed.

The story begins around six month ago, when Ken and Roberta Williams, the founders of Sierra, were reported to be working on a new game by YouTuber Space Quest Historian, who was contacted by a third party involved in the game’s development.

This news has created a lot of interest as Sierra Entertainment still holds a solid reputation from the ‘80s and ‘90s when it was famous for their unique point-and-click adventure games. Moreover, the company is responsible for IPs such as King’s Quest, Gabriel Knight, Leisure Suit Larry, and several Half-Life spin-offs. In 2014, during The Game Awards, the company received the Industry Icon award. Even though the company was officially closed in 2008, Activision brought it back to re-release a few of its classic games.

Going back to the rumour, Space Quest Historian was sceptical about these claims at first but he received a message directly from Ken Williams confirming that something is going on. We still don’t have any official announcements about this new game but fans are already hyped to play a new single-player game in the style of Sierra Entertainment.
